What installation temperature is required for the adhesive backing?
The hot-melt adhesive activates at 160°C ~ 180°C using an edge banding machine. For DIY projects, use a heat gun (set to 200°C) to apply uniform heat, then press firmly for 10 seconds to ensure bonding.
Can it be bent for curved edges?
Yes. For thickness ≤1.0mm, it can be cold-bent to a minimum radius of 5cm ; for thicker strips (1.5mm~3.0mm), heat to 60°C ~ 80°C with a heat gun before bending to avoid cracking.
How to repair a peeling edge band?
